Guatemala and El Salvador are home to rainforests, volcanoes and ancient Mayan ruins for travelers to visit. Avianca Airlines is offering some serious deals in the fall to both countries from major U.S. cities under $200 round-trip.
Scott's Cheap Flights, which offers a premium membership that alerts readers to discounted fares for $49 a year, first reported this deal to us. These offers are available for travel from October to November.

The following deals are for economy seats on Avianca, which only allow you to bring a personal item for free. A carry-on will cost $100 and a checked bag will cost $80. All offers below are for nonstop flights.
The cheapest deal we found was from Miami (MIA) to Guatemala City (GUA) for $150 round trip.
Another option under $200 is from New York (JFK) to Guatemala City (GUA) for $193 round trip.
You can travel to San Salvador (SAL), the capital of El Salvador, from Washington, D.C., (IAD) for $167 round trip. According to Google Flights, this price is over $200 cheaper than usual for travel in October.
For the same price, travelers can go from Los Angeles (LAX) to San Salvador (SAL) for $167 round trip.
There are affordable options throughout October and November to travel from Houston (IAH) to San Salvador (SAL) for $172 round-trip.
