Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using The Platinum Card® from American Express, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through the Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.
JetBlue has a solid little sale going on for the next two days that'll get you 20% off the base fare any flight. You'll have to book through this page and use the promo code GLITZ by Feb. 27 at 11:59 PM EST.
The code works for flights between March 5 and June 12, with blackout dates from April 16-24. The main restriction is that the discount only applies to flights on Tuesday and Wednesday for travel in coach class. Still, you'll be able to use the code on any route, which can make this sale quite useful — we're seeing transcontinental flights under $200 round-trip after applying the code. The discount only works on cash bookings, so you won't be able to make a discounted award reservations.
We recommend searching for flights via Google Flights to find the cheapest dates, then heading to JetBlue and booking direct.
