Up to 20% back: Major savings at Four Seasons, Hyatt, Marriott and more with new Amex Offers
Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available. View the current offers here.
If you have a hotel stay coming up over the next few months and happen to hold an American Express card, listen up: You may be able to save some serious cash on your next trip. Many American Express cardholders have reported they've been targeted for even more deep discounts at major hotel chains through the Amex Offers program.
That said, it's important to note that the coronavirus pandemic continues and some states and countries continue to impose travel restrictions. However, many hotel chains offer flexible change and cancellation policies for new reservations — so there's little risk of booking a stay that falls during the offer periods below. Just be aware of the risk that you may need to cancel the trip as it approaches and double-check the cancelation terms for your booking.
Let's take a look at the current offers across various Amex cards. Eligibility for these offers is limited. Enrollment is required in the Amex Offers section of your account before redeeming.

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts
Book a much-needed luxury vacation this summer with Four Seasons and get $150 back after spending $750 or more. This equates to 20% in savings -- just book by Aug. 31, 2021.
There’s a plethora of new Amex Offers across multiple brands under the Hilton Honors umbrella, all of which were found on my own Amex Platinum as well as multiple other Amex cards in the wallets of TPG staffers. Let’s dive in.
Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites & Home2
Several TPG staffers found this offer on their Amex cards, including Editor-at-Large Zach Honig on The Platinum Card® from American Express card and Editorial Director Summer Hull on her Amex EveryDay® Preferred Credit Card. You'll receive $50 back after spending $250 or more at Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites and Home2 hotels in the U.S. and U.S. territories. This offer expires July 31, 2021. The information for the Amex EveryDay Preferred Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
While swiping the Amex Platinum card for these stays won't get you the best return on your hotel purchase — since you'll only earn 1 Membership Rewards point per dollar spent — the above discounts should make it worth it.
Waldorf Astoria & Conrad
If you are ready for a little fancy in your travel life, you can get a $100 statement credit after spending $500 or more at Waldorf Astoria and Conrad properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories from now through the end of the year. These are some of the nicest hotels in the Hilton portfolio, which means you can save big on stays like the Conrad Miami or the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.
This offer was available for Clint Henderson's Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card and writer Stella Shon's Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card.
Senior writer Katie Genter found the Hyatt offer below on The Business Platinum Card® from American Express.
Book at a U.S. Hyatt property and get 10% back, up to $75. This offer expires on December 31, 2021.
InterContinental & Kimpton hotels
Senior News Editor Clint Henderson also found this sweet offer for InterContinental & Kimpton Hotels on his Amex Platinum card. Remember that InterContinental & Kimpton Hotels are part of IHG Rewards, so be sure to collect those points while you're at it.

You'll get a $50 statement credit by spending $250 or more on your booking. This offer expires July 13, 2021 — ideal for your next summer vacation booking.
With more than 7,000 properties worldwide, you can score some serious savings at a Marriott of your choice. This offer was found on Summer Hull's Amex EveryDay Preferred and Stella Shon's Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card.
By spending $200 or more, you'll get $40 back on your statement. This offer expires July 31, 2021.
Opal Grand Resort
Another offer found on the Amex Platinum, you could activate an offer for $100 back by spending $500 or more on your booking at Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort & Spa, Delray Beach. You'll need to book by July 31, 2021.
Any of the above offers can only be added to one card per account holder. You'll want to check all of your cards first to select the one that offers you the best return on the purchase — or choose one that waives foreign transaction fees for any purchases outside the U.S. and its territories.
Also, these are targeted offers, so you may not see them at all. If you do, I encourage you to add them right away, since these tend to have limited enrollment and may disappear before the expiration date. Also, only 100 Amex Offers will be visible at a time, so if you're at capacity, add offers to your card to see if any new ones appear.
If you don't have an American Express card and don't want to miss out on future offers like these, consider adding The Platinum Card® from American Express to your wallet. The card offers a welcome bonus of 80,000 Membership Rewards Points after you spend $6,000 on purchases within the first six months of card membership. You might even be eligible for a targeted 125,000-point bonus offer using the CardMatch tool (offer subject to change at any time).
You'll also receive 5x Membership Rewards points on flights booked directly with airlines or American Express Travel (earn 5x points on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year) and 5x points on prepaid hotels booked on American Express Travel. As a Platinum cardholder, you'll also receive complimentary Gold status with Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors, so your stays could be even more rewarding (enrollment required). The card has a $695 annual fee (see rates and fees).
