Daria is a perpetual wanderer and a hiker. She has traveled to over 40 countries. She recently traveled around the world for a year with her 5 and 8 year old. Daria, along with her husband Rob, co-wrote a comedic memoir about this experience (Turnstone Press, 2019) - Don't Try This At Home: One Family's (mis)Adventures Around the World.
Daria is also the author of The Prairie Bridesmaid and freelances for many publications in Canada and the US. She holds degrees in Arts and Education and and is completing her MFA in Creative Writing.
