Cynthia Paez Bowman is a data writer for TPG, a role that’s focused on deciphering governmental and industry data, then transforming the findings into timely news and forecasts.
Previously, Cynthia was a freelance writer for many of the Red Ventures brands including Bankrate, CNET, Freshome, creditcards.com, ZDNet and MyMove. In addition, she specialized in reporting on insurance, banking and credit cards for GOBankingRates and insurance.com.
Originally from Miami, Cynthia is a digital global nomad with her family in tow. Her husband is a Saharan tribal nomad from the edges of the frontier between Morocco, Algeria and Mauritania, yet her two daughters are typical California girls. Together they’ve lived on several continents as a way to maximize family travel by region. They’ve learned the art of balancing life (and each of their unique needs/perspectives) to feel at home everywhere from an off-the-grid bivouac in the sand dunes to a seven-star hotel in Seoul or Dubai.
Favorite cities: Marrakech, Morocco and Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland.
Where to next: Motorcycle tour of Mauritania.
