JetBlue's fighting back after losing the recent Virgin America acquisition to Alaska Airlines. The New York-based carrier just launched a new "Calling All JetBlue Virgins" campaign, presumably as an attempt to attract Virgin America fans who haven't yet flown with JetBlue.

JetBlue is targeting new flyers.

The airline will be giving away 500 round-trip flights to "JetBlue virgins" in New York and California, in other words, people who have never taken a flight on JetBlue. To enter the contest, register on callingalljetbluevirgins.com by 11:59 ET on April 13. The contest is only open to residents of New York and California and you must not have ever flown the airline at the time of entry — the winners will be awarded a transferrable travel certificate that's valid for one year.

How we chose these cards

Our points-obsessed staff uses a plethora of credit cards on a daily basis. If anyone on our team wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or a family member, we wouldn’t recommend it on The Points Guy either. Our opinions are our own, and have not been reviewed, approved, or endorsed by our advertising partners.
