The Points Guy and Capital One Business Small Business Month 1 Million Miles Sweepstakes: Additional Rules

These Additional Rules, together with the Official General Rules ("General Rules"), govern the Promotion defined below to be conducted by The Points Guy ("TPG"). These Additional Rules will prevail in the event of an inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the General Rules and the terms and conditions of these Additional Rules. By entering, you explicitly agree to these Additional Rules and to the General Rules governing TPG promotions. Incomplete, garbled, non-responsive and mechanically reproduced entries will be disqualified. If you enter using a mobile device, standard data charges may apply from your carrier.

PROMOTION: The Points Guy and Capital One Business Small Business Month 1 Million Miles Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes")

SPONSOR: The Points Guy, LLC ("TPG"), 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, South Carolina 29707 is the sponsor of this Sweepstakes. Any questions relating to this Sweepstakes should be directed to TPG.

Instagram, Capital One, as well as The Quilt Shop at Millers, Kitty Hawk Kites, Beyond Ocean, Kanile'a Ukulele & Guitar, Slush Club, Glidden Point Oysters and Hotel Candle (collectively "Prize Providers") are not sponsors or administrators of this Sweepstakes.

ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. The Sweepstakes is open to individuals who are residents of the fifty (50) United States or D.C. age 21 or older with a valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) at the time of entry who have an active eligible Capital One credit or charge card connected to a Capital One rewards account open and in good standing as of May 15, 2026, excluding debit and private label credit cards (PLCC). Any potential winner's Capital One card account must be open and in good standing at the time of prize distribution. Entrants must also be registered users of Instagram and you can sign up for a free Instagram account at https://www.instagram.com/accounts/emailsignup/.

Employees, officers and directors of TPG and Capital One Services, LLC, their respective parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies, web masters and web suppliers, persons engaged in the development of Sweepstakes materials, and Prize Providers (collectively, the "Promotional Entities"), and members of the immediate family (parents, siblings, children and spouse, wherever they reside) or household (whether or not related) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Participants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.

PROMOTION PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Friday, May 22, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 31, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). The server hosting the Instagram platform is the official time clock for the Sweepstakes. Late submissions will not be accepted.

HOW TO ENTER: At or near the beginning of the Promotion Period, TPG will post a Sweepstakes reel ("Sweepstakes Reel") to its Instagram profile. During the Promotion Period, enter by visiting Instagram, following @ThePointsGuy and @CapitalOneBusiness, watching the Sweepstakes Reel, then commenting on the Sweepstakes Reel with #Sweepstakes and tagging your favorite small business worth traveling for to submit your entry into the Sweepstakes during the Promotion Period. All comments and tags must meet all requirements of the Instagram platform and must be posted by the Instagram servers during the Promotion Period for a valid entry. By submitting a comment and tagging a small business on the Sweepstakes Reel, you are confirming that you have read and agree to these Additional Rules and the General Rules.

Limit one entry per person by any method during the entire Promotion Period. Additional entries from the same person and/or Instagram account will be disqualified in Sponsor's sole discretion. The creation of additional Instagram accounts to create additional entries beyond this limit is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification of all entries from that person, in Sponsor's sole discretion.

SELECTION OF WINNER: Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing held on or before Friday, June 12, 2026 from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential winner will be notified by Sponsor via Instagram direct message on or before Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Instagram account that the potential winner utilized to enter the Sweepstakes. The potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability (where legal), also providing the account information for their Capital One rewards account, if applicable, within seven (7) days following receipt in order to formally claim the Prize. If any potential winner does not return the signed documentation (including all necessary releases as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) within seven (7) days, or if any notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if a potential winner did not have an eligible Capital One credit card account connected to a Capital One rewards account open and in good standing as of the applicable date, or if a potential winner declines the prize, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in full compliance with the Official General Rules and these Additional Rules, then that potential winner will be disqualified, the potential winner slot will be forfeited, and Sponsor will randomly draw another potential winner from among remaining eligible entries. Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize if it is unable to confirm a winner after three attempts. The prize will be added to the rewards balance of the primary accountholder on the applicable credit card account. The prize is subject to all terms and conditions generally applicable to Capital One reward accounts.

PRIZE:

Prize will be fulfilled as either 1,000,000 Capital One Miles, or $10,000.00 cash back rewards, depending on the rewards type of the winning cardholder's Capital One rewards account.

The estimated total value of the grand prize is $13,162.00.

Winner will be solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes on the Prize and may receive an IRS Form 1099 from Capital One and Sponsor for the retail value of the Prize and must provide a valid social security number if requested for tax reporting purposes.

PAYOUT TERMS: Capital One miles portion of the Grand Prize will be fulfilled as either 1,000,000 Capital One Miles for a miles cardholder, or $10,000.00 cash back rewards for a cash rewards cardholder. Capital One will apply the Capital One Miles or cash rewards (based on the type of cardholder) to the primary accountholder of the winner's account within four to eight weeks following confirmation of eligibility. Winner is solely responsible for all costs, fees, expenses, and other charges that are directly or indirectly related to the use of their prize (e.g., airline tickets, travel costs such as baggage fees, ground transportation, parking, hotels, tips, souvenirs, meals, alcoholic beverages, phone or internet charges, insurance, passports and the like). If used for travel, winner accepts all responsibility for ensuring that they follow all appropriate state and/or international guidelines and rules for travel to and from their selected destination. Company Entities and Partners are not responsible for any illness contracted or injury sustained by the winners' use of any prize. The gift card and merchandise portions of the Grand Prize will be shipped to the home address of the winner as provided in the claim documents within six to eight weeks following confirmation. Portions of the prizes may be shipped separately.

COMPANY ENTITIES AND PARTNERS: For the avoidance of doubt, the term "Company Entities & Partners" used in the General Rules shall include Capital One Services, LLC ("Capital One") and Capital One's respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, as well as the Prize Providers and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents.

PRIVACY: Personal data will be processed by TPG in accordance with its Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://thepointsguy.com/privacy-policy/ . Additional eligibility will be confirmed by Capital One in accordance with its Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://www.capitalone.com/privacy/.

WINNERS LIST: For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to TPG and Capital One Business Small Business Month Sweepstakes. Winner List, 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29707 within 45 days following the close of the Sweepstakes. Requests received after that date will not be processed. Allow 4-6 weeks following the receipt of the request or the close of the Promotion Period, whichever is later, for delivery of the list.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: By registering to participate in this Sweepstakes, participants agree to the General Rules and these Additional Rules.
