I hope everyone is having a great week so far. This morning there’s a plethora of big news in the points and miles world, so we want to break it all down for you.
This loyalty program that doesn’t require a credit card to earn rewards (it has really high earning rates too!) just announced three huge new transfer bonuses for the month of October: 50% to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, 40% to Air France-KLM Flying Blue and up to 35% to Qatar Airways Privilege Club. If you aren’t a member yet, you can join (it’s free) and earn 1,500 miles instantly when using our link. That’s three times more than the standard referral offer! For new users making their first hotel booking over $500 on the platform, using the code BRIANKELLY500 will earn you an additional 5,000 miles.
Transfer ratio changing: We were all sad when Chase announced that Ultimate Rewards transfers from the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card to World of Hyatt would no longer be 1:1 and would instead move to a less favorable 4:3 ratio. Well, this rewards program just did the same thing — cue the sad trombone.
Just announced: There’s a new kid (er, card) on the block from IHG that offers over $1,000 in value in the first year. A slate of amazing benefits includes automatic Platinum Elite status, anniversary free night, up to $300 in annual food and beverage rewards to use at IHG properties, plus a $200 annual airline statement credit so you can purchase the flights to get you there.
