As you may have seen, a new highest-in-years limited-time offer dropped yesterday. Best of all — it’s on a card with just a $95 annual fee.
For a limited time, you can get the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card with 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 on purchases within the first three months. But for the first time ever, the offer also comes with a one-time $300 stays credit valid toward hotel and vacation rental bookings made through Capital One Travel in the first cardholder year.
We’ve occasionally seen a $250 credit appear with this offer for a limited time, but we’ve never seen a credit go as high as $300.
That puts the all-in value of this offer at a staggering $1,688, based on TPG’s September 2026 valuations.
From earning 2 miles per dollar on everything to getting up to a $120 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit on a card with a $95 annual fee, to flight price protection benefits and more, there is so much to share about the Capital One Venture Rewards Card and why we love it.
But today, I want to unpack a few different ways you can use the increased bonus and explain why it’s worth so much.
Get over $1,000 in travel
One of the reasons I love my Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is that you can redeem miles at 1 cent each to essentially erase eligible travel charges charged to the card within 90 days. That includes flights, hotels, a cruise, a car rental or even some theme park vacations; you have a ton of flexibility to use the miles exactly how you want.
That means the 75,000 bonus miles alone can cover $750 in eligible travel charges — and you’d still have that $300 credit to use toward hotel and vacation rental bookings through Capital One Travel in the first year.
Combined, that’s an excellent $1,050 in travel from a single welcome offer on a card with a $95 annual fee, if you use the miles that way.
But … that’s not your only option.
Use transfer partners to get even more value
Capital One has 18 airline and four hotel partners, where you can transfer your miles to book awards for potentially even more value, such as:
- Business-class flights from the U.S. to Japan on Japan Airlines from 55,000 JAL Mileage Bank miles, plus taxes and fees each way
- Economy flights from New York to London from 6,000 Virgin points, plus taxes and fees each way
- Domestic flights on Delta from 7,500 Flying Blue miles, plus taxes and fees each way
- Nice hotels around Europe, starting from around 8,000 to 15,000 Choice Privileges points per night
- Flights from the West Coast to Hawaii on American Airlines from 22,000 British Airways Avios, plus taxes and fees
Most Capital One partners transfer at a 1:1 ratio, though not all do, so you can check the exact transfer times and ratios here.
If you use transfer partners to get more than 1 cent per mile in value, you could reliably get over $1,600 in value from this one limited-time offer, based on TPG’s September 2026 valuations and my own experiences.
Whether you keep things very simple at 1 cent per mile or level up to using transfer partners, you can’t go wrong with how you use this highest-in-years bonus on the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card that’s easily worth over $1,000 in travel.
