If you’re reading this newsletter, it’s probably because you want the best advice for all things points and miles.

With that transfer bonus, I can score premium economy seats on Finnair from New York to Rome — with a nice stopover in Helsinki, to boot — for just 42,000 Membership Rewards points each way (plus taxes and fees).
If I paid cash, those seats would cost about $1,650 each way — so you can see how the value really stacks up with these points.
