We just got some big news from our contacts at Chase: the highest-ever publicoffer for the Chase Sapphire Reserve® is officially ending soon.
This means time is officially running short to get in on this offer, which lets new cardholders earn 150,000 bonus points if they spend $6,000 on the card within three months from account opening.
To put that into perspective, TPG currently values 150,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points at more than $3,000 (based on May 2026 valuations) — and this offer is 25,000 points larger than the card’s previous bonus.
Fly to Europe in a lie-flat United Polaris business-class seat (some start at 80,000 points).
Take 10 or more domestic United economy flights (at 15,000 points per flight).
Enjoy nearly a week at resorts such as the Hyatt Regency Maui when transferring points to hotel partners.
The 150,000-point bonus is the headline here, but it’s also worth remembering why so many travelers keep this card long after earning the welcome offer.
The Sapphire Reserve comes with a long list of annual credits and perks that Chase values at more than $3,000 per year, including a straightforward $300 annual travel credit, hundreds of dollars in annual dining and entertainment benefits and strong travel protections.
This is a card I’ve personally had in my own wallet since it launched nearly a decade ago and I routinely get far more value from the benefits than the annual fee, including getting more than $2,220 in value from the card in the last year.
And of course, the Sapphire Reserve provides access to the cardholder and eligible guests to the very enjoyable and growing portfolio of Chase Sapphire Lounges at airports. It also allows you to earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points at rates like 8 points per dollar spent on Chase Travel℠ purchases and 4 points per dollar spent on flights and hotels booked directly.
