And that wasn’t the only big surprise in that survey.
For example, the airline whose business-class experience customers are most satisfied with is not one of the “Big Three” – but it has managed to dominate two years in a row now.
And despite all of the big changes this airline has rolled out in the past year, its economy class still has the highest customer satisfaction rating of any U.S. carrier!
And, less surprising: this airline’s premium economy topped the list for that segment for the fourth straight year.
Time will tell whether this positive sentiment will continue as customers start to feel the impact of the industry’s recent challenges. But people are still pretty bullish on travel, in general, despite these headwinds.
