Here’s something we’re not looking forward to: As we reported last month, World of Hyatt is drastically changing its beloved award chart this May, and many of our favorite properties could become much more expensive on peak dates.
Like this chic Hawaiian resort, which could reach 75,000 points per night in the high season after the changes. The previous award chart peaked at 45,000 points per night.
Or, unplug at this secluded California property, where redemption rates could also reach 75,000 points per night in peak season. Right now, it’s peaking at 45,000 points per night.
You can experience all-inclusive luxury in Mexico, but the new award chart will charge as much as 85,000 points per night. Previous award rates wouldn’t exceed 58,000 points per night.
Or, surround yourself with English history at this London hotel, which will peak at 40,000 points per night after the changes. The current award chart peaks at 29,000 points per night.
So, if you’ve been saving up for that special Hyatt stay, we highly recommend you book this month.
