I’ve been a happy Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card holder for years now. In addition to lounge access and other benefits that easily offset the annual fee, I love earning at least 2 miles per dollar spent on every purchase I make (and even more on travel I book through Capital One Travel).
If you’ve been thinking about getting this card, here’s why I envy you: For a limited time, new cardholders can earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $10,000 on purchases in the first six months from account opening.
This is the highest offer since the card launched in 2021, worth a whopping $1,850, according to our December 2025 valuations — and 33% higher than the 75,000 miles I received when I applied for the card.
I’ve earned hundreds of thousands of Capital One miles over the years from this card, and here are some of my favorite redemptions (hint: focus on the airline partners with a 1:1 transfer ratio):
Singapore Airlines business class: I’ve transferred miles to Air Canada Aeroplan to book a rare A380 business-class seat on Singapore Airlines from Singapore to London for just 80,000 miles, which is incredible value for a 13-hour flight.
Domestic United Airlines flights: Aeroplan has also been a lifesaver when I’ve needed to book last-minute, short-haul flights on United, which start at 10,000 Aeroplan points (which transfer at a 1:1 ratio from Capital One). Booking this way can actually be cheaper than booking with United MileagePlus miles.
Virgin Atlantic Saver fares to London: I am especially fond of economy flights on Virgin Atlantic to London starting at just 6,000 Virgin points (you can transfer Capital One miles to Virgin Red at a 1:1 ratio). This is not only highly affordable but an amazing economy experience which includes checked baggage, seat selection and onboard food, drinks and amenities.
Emirates business class: While you can transfer miles directly to Emirates Skywards, my secret is actually to book these flights through a different partner, Qantas Frequent Flyer, where transfers remain at a 1:1 ratio. I’ve taken the A380 from New York to Milan and have never had so much fun on a transatlantic flight before.
If you want a card that keeps earning simple, delivers automatic value and has highly valuable transfer partners, I recommend checking out the Venture X while this elevated 100,000-bonus-mile offer is still available. We don’t know when we’ll see one this high again!
