As TPG’s senior hotels reporter, I’ve really, really been leaning into all-inclusive resorts. I personally love them because, for the most part, you don’t have to worry too much about money. At some high-end resorts, where cocktails are over $20 each, it sucks the fun out of a vacation because I want to be laid-back and carefree, but all I can think is, “How much is all of this costing me?!”
Enter the all-inclusive resort. And let me tell you, we certainly have some favorites:
But before you book an all-inclusive resort, make sure you remember a few basics. It’s essential to have the current number of guests on your booking, and to understand if a particular resort you’re interested in is right for your family or the way your group travels.
But hey, if you’re not sold, that’s OK! I just visited the brand-new St. Regis Cap Cana, where you can find a la carte luxury in the land of all-inclusive resorts.
With that, I’m signing off newsletter duty for a while. Curious about what resort or hotel I’m visiting next? Follow my travels on Instagram.
