Whether you need a quick bite to eat, a quiet place to relax or maybe even a hot shower between long flights, having access to an airport lounge can be a lifesaver when traveling.
I personally carry The Platinum Card® from American Express to enjoy access to Amex’s swanky Centurion Lounges. Plus, this card gets me up to 10 visits a year to Delta Sky Clubs when I’m flying Delta Air Lines, and access to hundreds more lounges around the world when you enroll in Priority Pass – including one I visited recently in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with a swimming pool!
Pro tip:The Business Platinum Card® from American Express offers the same lounge access, and has an incredible limited-time offer right now. New applicants can earn 150,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $20,000 on eligible purchases in the first three months of card membership. Plus, you can also earn a $500 statement credit after spending $2,500 on qualifying flights booked directly with airlines or through American Express Travel in the first three months of card membership. Just know: You must apply by June 30 to earn one or both of these offers.

Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders have access to a number of beautiful Chase-branded lounges, including the one at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA), which was TPG’s Best New U.S. Lounge of 2024. This card also includes access to Priority Pass lounges.
