If you like to get big welcome bonuses and fly using your miles, you might have noticed us talking about the amazing limited-time welcome offer on the Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard®, which is the highest offer we’ve seen for this card: Earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $10,000 within the first three months from account opening.
These days, AAdvantage miles are actually some of the most valuable airline miles available; we’ve recently seen some domestic economy awards starting at 7,500 miles one-way, and even international business class to Europe from 57,500 miles one-way.
Personally, I love redeeming AAdvantage miles for fantastic partner redemption options like Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways’ award-winning Qsuite business class and even Qantas to Australia (if you can nab that elusive availability).
Some more good news: Citi’s rules for earning bonuses on the AAdvantage cards are not quite as onerous as you might see from some other issuers. Even if you’ve recently earned the sign-up bonus on another card in the Citi AAdvantage family, you could still qualify for this one.
Just know that you’re ineligible if you’ve earned a welcome bonus on this particular card within the last 48 months, or if you’ve earned it on a different AAdvantage card in the last 48 months and then upgraded that card to the AAdvantage Executive.
If you think you’re in the clear, don’t miss your chance to take advantage of this amazing offer on a card whose value is truly exceptional.
And if you’re just a casual American Airlines flyer or you’re not in the market for a premium card, you may want to check out the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard®. With this card, you know you’ll at least get preferred boarding and a free checked bag on domestic flights, among other perks. Right now, new cardholders can earn 50,000 bonus miles after spending $2,500 in the first three months from account opening.
