We can’t be surprised by those numbers given the big news we saw here last week: Our latest TPG-Harris Poll survey found that, despite the current economic and political environment, Americans are still bullish on travel this year, with most planning to travel the same amount or more than they did last year.
And boy are they in luck, since we’re seeing a flurry of incredible deals on award flights (like this one from American Airlines) as airlines try to lock in their share of those travel plans.
Pro tip: If you’re snagging a deal in that American sale, try to connect at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) so you can check out the stunning new Flagship Lounge and Admirals Club that opened last week.
And we learned that one of the most lucrative points transfer partnerships available right now is coming to an end June 30 — we will be very sad to see it go.
