I’ve tried pretty much everything to help me sleep better when I fly. It’s probably no surprise that my most successful sleep happened when I got the elusive last-minute Delta Air Lines first-class upgrade (which is why I will never let go of my Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card), but sleeping in a swanky seat isn’t always an option.
My favorite is the Trtl travel pillow ($59.99). I’ve never felt like an inflatable neck pillow really enhances my ensemble, so I like that this one is compact and easy to store in my bag until I need it.
Managing Editor Madison Blancaflor tested several travel products to see if they can help you sleep on a long flight. Her testing was met with mixed results, but the Huzi Infinity Pillow ($54.50) was the clear winner.
In addition to using gizmos and gadgets, you may drift off to dreamland more quickly by wearing comfortable clothing, limiting alcohol intake before you fly, and listening to sleep stories or white noise.
