Yes, it’s increased offer season, and we are so excited about that. This time, we are here with good news of another limited-time business card offer, but with a lower spending requirement than many other business card offers and elite travel perks.
My take? I want that!
Actually, I already have it. I got this card last year, and I have taken full advantage of its perks and benefits so far, but this year’s offer is even better than the one I got because it includes a new $500 statement credit!
Right now, new cardholders of The Business Platinum Card® from American Express can earn a whopping 150,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $20,000, plusa $500 statement credit after spending $2,500 on qualifying flights booked directly with airlines or through American Express Travel, all in the first three months of card membership. You can earn one or both of these offers. Offer ends June 30, 2025.
I’m a fan because this card includes premium travel perks and business statement credits such as Centurion Lounge access and Priority Pass membership, an airline fee credit of up to $200 annually, and up to $200 biannually in statement credits for U.S. Dell purchases, just to name a few. For me, that’s more than enough value to justify the $695 annual fee. (Enrollment is required for select benefits. See rates and fees.)
I wasn’t sure I’d be able to take advantage of the Dell credits, but then I saw I could order a new Fitbit on the Dell website. Yes, please. I also activated a limited-time 10% cash-back offer for Dell that was on my card, so when the $216 purchase hit my statement and both credits were applied, I actually came out ahead by $10.
Before you say you’re not eligible or you don’t own a business with employees, I think you should check out what types of businesses can qualify — you might be surprised to find out your side hustle qualifies you.
When I qualify for a new card bonus offer, I shift all my spending to that card and put any large expenses I have coming up on it (when my house’s air conditioning unit went out in the middle of July in Arizona, you bet I put that toward earning a new card bonus).
Here’s everything you need to know about the Amex Business Platinum and its great new offer. Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure?
