Until yesterday, 2025 was off to a slow start in terms of juicy credit card offers. But we’re super excited to see that one of our favorite offers from last year — easily worth a very flexible$1,000 in travel — has resurfaced for a limited time!
Right now, the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is offering 75,000 bonus milesafter you spend $4,000 in the first three months after account opening, plus a $250 Capital One Travel credit valid for your first cardholder year.
At face value, this offer is worth at least $1,000 of travel on a card with a modest $95 annual fee. And it could even be worth a lot more when you transfer those miles to one of Capital One’s many airline and hotel partners.
Redeeming for flights
If you like to really maximize your miles, you could transfer them to a valuable airline partner like Air France-KLM Flying Blue, which currently offers flights to various European destinations for as little as 18,750 miles one-way. Or Virgin Atlantic, which offers flights to the U.K. starting at only 6,000 points. Just think of how many flights you could get out of those 75,000 points!
Redeeming for travel
But what really gets me jazzed up about this offer is the flexibility to use it for all kinds of travel. Do you prefer accommodations that aren’t part of a major chain? (Think vacation rentals, glamping stays, bed-and-breakfasts, agriturismos and independent boutiques with local character — the kinds of places you usually can’t access through a major loyalty program.)
Well, you can cover those stays with these miles! Just redeem them for 1 cent apiece as a statement credit on your travel purchases, or use them to book through Capital One Travel (and use that sweet $250 credit while you’re at it).
I also can’t understate what a good deal that $250 travel credit is. Keep in mind that a top benefit of the Venture card’s premium sibling, the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, is that it comes with an annual $300 Capital One Travel credit. This offer gets you almost that much travel credit for your first year without the much higher annual fee of the premium card!
