When you’re looking to get away from life’s stresses, restore your mental well-being and recharge your battery, nothing beats a retreat to an all-inclusive resort. Whether you’re in a need of a relaxing, kids-free beachside reprieve or a seamless getaway for you and your family, all-inclusive resorts take the stress out of vacationing.
That may explain why demand for these types of stays is soaring and hotel companies keep expanding their all-inclusive portfolios. Last week, Hyatt told investors that demand for all-inclusive resorts in the Americas is pacing 10% higher this holiday season compared to last year. For the first three months of next year, demand is up a whopping 20%!
Long story short: If you’re thinking about booking a stay at an all-inclusive resort, sooner is better than later. The good news is that there are increasingly more options to find an all-inclusive getaway within your favorite loyalty program’s orbit.
Hyatt announced in late October it was launching a joint venture with the parent company of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. The move will bring in more affordable all-inclusive options on top of its existing network of brands like Dreams, Secrets and Impression by Secrets. (Pro tip: If you’re looking to book something at the last minute, there are plenty of Hyatt all-inclusive resorts that use a fixed award chart, where you won’t be subject to price spikes if you book with points!)
