Once inside, you’ll quickly forget that you’re actually in an airport. With a breathtaking design, endless amenities (including a spa, marble-clad shower suites and shoeshine, to name a few), restaurant-style dining and plenty of space, this lounge is worth arriving early for.
In fact, the lounge is also the first I’ve seen to offer travelers the ability to borrow an external computer monitor to help you focus on work, a nice touch designed for the work-from-anywhere era.
Though Delta has long been the leader in offering a premium-focused passenger experience, Delta is actually playing catch-up to American Airlines’ Flagship Lounges and United Airlines’ Polaris Lounges.
American and United already operate business-class-only lounges in most of their major hubs.
That said, while Delta may be late to the game, its first Delta One Lounge outpost quickly becomes not only the nicest business-class-only lounge in the country but also one of the very best in the entire world.
