One of the most frequent questions I get asked when other travelers learn I write about points, miles and credit cards is, “What card is best?”
My answer is always that there’s no best card for everyone, and that the best card for you depends on your travel goals, spending habits and other personal factors.
However, I often find myself recommending the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. It offers 3 points per dollar on dining and at least 2 points per dollar on travel, which are often two major spending categories for travelers who ask me this question.
I frequently save money through Chase Offers on my Chase Sapphire Preferred, and I appreciate knowing I’ll have primary rental car coverage when I pay for eligible rental cars with my card and trip and baggage delay coverage when I book flights with my card.
