American introduces business-class-plus seats as it scraps first class
When American Airlines loses first class, it will have something interesting to replace it with as part of a larger overhaul of the onboard dining and amenities set to debut in the coming weeks.
American will include what it is calling “Flagship Suite Preferred” seats, similar to Virgin Atlantic’s Retreat Suite or JetBlue’s Mint Studio, which will be in the front-row bulkhead on newly delivered Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets and retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER planes. I think they look rather nice!
