In the last week or so, the offers have come in thick and fast from Virgin Atlantic. First up, until Sunday, you’re able to earn up to 10,000 extra Virgin points on cash bookings.
There is also the option (and the offer ends today!) to match your British Airways Executive Club status to Virgin’s Flying Club. Even BA Silver elite members will be awarded Virgin Gold as part of this promotion, scoring you business check-in, lounge access and more with Virgin and across the entire SkyTeam network.
Last up, you’ll find some very generous credit card offers with a multiple on miles earned for spending in the initial period of taking a card out. You can head to Virgin Money for all the information.
Great Eurostar deal
Club Eurostar is running a rather great sale with tickets to and from London as cheap as 600 Club Eurostar points each way (normally 1,000 points). I have a few points from previous Eurostar bookings, but you can also transfer points from American Express Membership Rewards at a rate of 30:1, meaning the cheapest redemptions will cost you as little as 18,000 Amex points.
This is a deal that I’m personally running to take advantage of for the Paris Olympics. You’ll need to book by Friday.
Sticking to its fancy roots, the hotel now offers some extra swankiness: You can take part in the “Suite Journey” programme. For anyone booking a junior suite or above, you get delights like a 24-hour butler, unpacking, packing, garment pressing service, and Champagne and fresh fruit. Not only that (and I think this is the really cool bit), you can use the Tumi laundered luggage service, where your luggage itself will get a deep cleanse and a meticulous fault check.
