If you’ve been in the points and miles game for a while, you probably tend to ignore cash-back credit card welcome offers. After all, they’re generally only worth a few hundred bucks, while many of our favorite travel rewards cards have offers worth well over $1,000.
But don’t skip over this offer on the Chase Freedom Unlimited, which is ending shortly: Chase will match the cash back you earn in the first 12 months of spending on your card — with no limit. The card also has no annual fee to worry about.
Typically, you’ll earn 5% back on travel booked through Chase Ultimate Rewards, 3% on dining (including takeout and eligible delivery services) and at drugstores, and 1.5% back on all other purchases. With this offer, you’ll double that, earning a whopping 10% back on travel booked through Chase Ultimate Rewards, 6% on dining and at drugstores, and 3% back on all other purchases during your first 12 months of having the card.
If racking up a ton of cash back or Chase Ultimate Rewards points is one of your 2024 goals, this is the perfect offer to jump on. But don’t procrastinate; it will end soon.
