I had the best childhood growing up in my mom’s boutique and furniture store in Texas. That small business afforded me the opportunity to travel frequently — and learn the value of working for a hard-earned dollar.
Since every penny counts for small businesses and their owners, businesses can and should leverage all that hard work for rewards, just like individuals do.
Both of these cards earn cash-back-like rewards … with an important caveat that can make the rewards more valuable.
The Ink Business Unlimited earns an unlimited 1.5% back on all purchases while the Ink Business Cash earns 5% back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services, as well as 2% back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year.
TPG values fully transferable Ultimate Rewards points at more than 2 cents per point, versus the 1 cent per point you’d get when using them just as straight cash back.
