Thinking of your first (or second, third or fourth) cruise to Alaska? I have some advice for you: Make it a cruisetour.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the term, it’s the word the cruise world uses to describe a trip that combines both a cruise along the coast of a destination and an overland tour into the interior, and it’s a type of travel that’s big in Alaska.
For reasons that my colleagues and I explain in the new guides below, a cruisetour is, in my opinion, at least, the best way to see a broad cross section of Alaska’s most famous attractions in a single, easy-to-arrange trip.
Indeed, if you want to get to such iconic Alaska sites as Glacier Bay National Park, Denali National Park and the cozy coastal towns of Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan all in one trip, there really is no other way to do it.
All of these new guides and experiential stories are part of TPG’s very first Alaska Cruise Month. You can find all of them and more at our new Alaska Cruise Month hub.
