As regular readers know, I’ve been cruising on river ships a lot lately — and not just because I’ve been leading the creation of TPG’s first-ever River Cruise Month, a collection of 20 river cruise guides and experiential stories publishing throughout the month.
River cruising is, quite simply, a type of travel that I truly love.
Designed around small vessels that typically have fewer than 100 cabins, it’s an unusually intimate, relaxing and inclusive sort of travel experience that (for me, at least) is hard to beat.
River cruising can also get you direct access to some of the world’s most amazing places, from the ancient Egyptian temples along the Nile to the vineyards of Bordeaux in France.
