New planes. New TSA options. And a few new airline routes … but also a bunch of cuts. Let’s take a closer look at TPG’s top aviation storylines since our last newsletter.
I’ll start with the new planes. OK, they’re not new planes — but rather new cabin interiors.
Elsewhere, there are some new airline routes since last time. None is more high-profile than the three new European cities AA announced in its route drop for next summer.
But there were more cuts than additions this time around. Among those: the nation’s longest domestic flight, cut for the third time by two separate airlines in a span of just two years.
