Meanwhile, United Airlines is now halfway done with a stem-to-stern update to the cabin interiors across its entire fleet. Supply chain issues slowed the effort, but now the pace has picked up. United’s overhaul also includes a number of significant updates — perhaps setting the stage for a United-versus-Delta battle for the industry’s best inflight tech.
Speaking of Delta, the carrier is set to roll out its own sweeping update to the look of its cabin interiors. In fact, Delta rolled out the first plane featuring its new look last week in Atlanta — and TPG was there for a first look.
