The secret is out: Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, part of World of Hyatt, is now open in the Dominican Republic. That's not all, though. The family-friendly sister property, Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, is now open, too.

Situated about 63 miles from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) on Playa Esmeralda, the new Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa all-inclusive property offers an adults-only experience that you can book with points. Featuring 500 suites, all with private outdoor space (or swim-up pools), the resort is a great option for adults looking to catch some sun in the Dominican Republic.

In the rooms, expect modern spaces with an elegant design, including soft hues and dark woods. Amenities include rain showers, Pharmacopia Natural Bodycare products, 24-hour room service and a dedicated concierge who can coordinate activities and help with any guest needs. Alternatively, those in search of even more comfort can book a Preferred Club-level room for upgraded amenities, access to private pool and beach areas, and even a specialized check-in process.
