JLo and Virgin team up for a female empowerment cruise
Think a cruise could boost your business, your confidence and your mood at the same time? Pop culture icon Jennifer Lopez, who is also Virgin Voyages’ chief entertainment and lifestyle officer, says yes.
Along with Virgin’s CEO, famed entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, Lopez has dreamed up the Limitless Voyage, a theme cruise focused on female empowerment, entrepreneurship and wellness.
The five-night sailing will take place on Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady from April 14 to 19.

“My mission has always been to entertain, empower and inspire my fans to live their lives without putting limits on what they believe they can achieve,” said Lopez in a statement. “Richard and I share this passion for partnerships and experiences that bring people joy and lift you up, which is why I am so excited to work with Virgin Voyages to bring the Limitless Voyage to the seven seas.”
For the theme cruise, Virgin is partnering with Lopez’s Limitless Labs, described as “a mission driven organisation focused on changing the game for women to up-level their lives through equal access to education, opportunities and capital.”
Not only will the cruise offer special events designed to promote women’s personal and professional growth, but 50 cabins will be gifted to Latina entrepreneurs in connection with the nonprofit Grameen America.

Cruise activities are themed to the seven C’s (see what she did there?): community, courage, character, confidence, care, clarity and connection.
On board, cruisers can benefit professionally from networking events, inspirational seminars and panel discussions with successful women entrepreneurs.
They can also take time to practice self-care with morning meditation classes, ‘90s dance classes with JLo playlists and time spent in the ship’s spa. New dining experiences and JLo-themed entertainment are also in the works.
Note that while some of the Lopez-inspired programming will be available to everyone on board, other special events focused on women entrepreneurs will be exclusive to those who sign up for the “Limitless Experience Package.”
“It’s exciting and inspiring to see the impact Jennifer’s having through all she does, not just in the entertainment industry, but also through her business ventures and her support of women’s entrepreneurship with Limitless Labs,” said Richard Branson. “She brings so much passion to all of her projects, so it was the perfect opportunity to take that energy and spirit and together create a voyage unlike any other.”
The sailing will feature stops in the Dominican Republic and at Virgin’s exclusive beach club in Bimini, Bahamas, as well as two days at sea to fill with the theme cruise events or well-deserved R&R for the hardworking ladies on board.

Virgin Voyages includes meals in more than 20 restaurants, basic Wi-Fi, group fitness classes and crew gratuities in its fares, which makes budgeting for this special sailing far easier than budgeting for your business back home.
However, JLo Beauty products sold in the ship’s onboard shops will cost extra.
To expand your horizons or have an epic girls getaway, you can book the Limitless Voyage on Virgin’s website. Fares start at $1,796 for a room with a view or $2,002 for a cabin with a balcony.
