DUFL Makes Your Luggage Magically Appear at Your Destination
No packing required: a new startup business called DUFL will eliminate packing from your travel routine altogether.

For $10 a month, DUFL will store your selection of travel essentials—clothing, toiletries, underwear, etc.— in a special suitcase at its warehouse in Tempe, Arizona (where they're hiring, FYI). Every time you travel somewhere, use the app to choose items from your "virtual closet" and they'll pack them all up for you.
For $99 per trip the service will have your case waiting for you when you get there. Then when your stay is done, just pack it all back in the case; they'll pick it up for you and wash everything and keep it nice and fresh and ready for your next trip.

Perfect for business and frequent travelers, DUFL means no scanning any bags through security. No worries about lost or stolen luggage. All you have to do is receive the DUFL suitcase at your house the first time, put a set of clothing and toiletries into it that you will only use on your trips, and then send it to them. Receipt and delivery of the suitcase are both included in the service.

Not to worry if your travel plans change mid-trip, as actual human beings answer the phone if you need to call after your flight is canceled or your plans change. The best thing? The phone number is 884-DUFL-BAG. Can't make this stuff up, folks.
The service is only available for domestic travel in the US right now. There is no limit on the weight of your contents, only the amount. They'll ship whatever fits into your DUFL bag. If you want more than one DUFL case shipped to your destination, just add additional "trips."

The way these travel apps are developing so quickly, pretty soon we won't have to do anything. Just a few taps on a smartphone, and we can hop in an Uber ride waiting for us at our doorsteps to ride to the airport, wait in style at the airport club lounge, stroll out of our destination airport into a luxury rental car that's waiting for us, waltz into a hotel where our reservation is already handled and our bag is already there, and wave our watch at the hotel room door and it will magically open.
Next year I'll be telling you about how all of the above can happen with telepathy. Wouldn't that be nice?
