Bilt adds milestone rewards to its loyalty program
Near the end of 2023, Bilt Rewards announced changes to its elite status tiers. Now, Bilt has added a new perk to its program in the form of milestone rewards that you can claim for every 25,000 points you earn within a calendar year. Points you've earned already this year count, so you might currently have one or more milestone rewards you can choose from.
Here's what you need to know about the new Bilt milestone rewards.
Bilt milestone rewards
Bilt Rewards members can select one milestone reward for every 25,000 points they earn within a calendar year. However, the rewards get better as you accrue more points.
Some milestone rewards are exclusive to cardholders of the Bilt Mastercard®, but others are available to all Bilt Rewards members. Cardholders must use the card five times each statement period to earn points. Here's a look at your options at each milestone:
- 25,000 and 50,000 points: Double points on Bilt Dining for seven days, 1,000 points for the Bilt Collection, 2 points per dollar spent at grocery stores for 30 days (Bilt Mastercard cardholder exclusive), 2 points per dollar spent at gas stations for 30 days (Bilt Mastercard cardholder exclusive) or 2 points per dollar spent on sports and concert tickets for 30 days (Bilt Mastercard cardholder exclusive)
- 75,000 points: All the same options from the 25,000 and 50,000 milestones, plus 10 points per dollar spent on your next three Lyft rides or 2 points per dollar spent on digital wallet purchases for seven days (Bilt Mastercard cardholder exclusive)
- 100,000 and 125,000 points: All the same options from the 75,000 milestone, plus 5,000 points to get closer to the next status
- 150,000, 175,000 and 200,000 points: All the same options from the 100,000 and 125,000 milestones, plus $10 toward your next fitness class
- 225,000 points: All the same options from the 150,000, 175,000 and 200,000 milestones, plus 7,500 points for the Bilt Collection
- 250,000 points and every 25,000 points beyond: All the same options from the 225,000 milestone, plus 4 points per dollar spent at grocery stores for 30 days (Bilt Mastercard cardholder exclusive) or 4 points per dollar spent at gas stations for 30 days (Bilt Mastercard cardholder exclusive)

Many of these milestone rewards are self-explanatory. However, here's a closer look at each Bilt milestone reward you could choose:
- Double points on Bilt Dining for seven days: You'll earn double points at Bilt Dining restaurants (up to 1,000 bonus points) for seven days after choosing this milestone reward when you use a linked debit or credit card. The double points are in addition to your usual credit card rewards, as only the Bilt Dining multiplier is doubled.
- 1,000 points for the Bilt Collection: You'll get 1,000 points to use toward one item in the Bilt Collection. You can't claim this specific milestone reward more than three times per year.
- 2 points per dollar spent at grocery stores for 30 days: You'll earn 2 points per dollar spent at grocery stores (up to 1,000 bonus points) when you use your Bilt Mastercard at checkout for 30 days after claiming this milestone reward.
- 2 points per dollar spent at gas stations for 30 days: You'll earn 2 points per dollar spent at gas stations (up to 1,000 bonus points) when you use your Bilt Mastercard for 30 days after claiming this milestone reward.
- 2 points per dollar spent on sports and concert tickets for 30 days: You'll earn 2 points per dollar spent (up to 1,000 bonus points) when you use your Bilt Mastercard to buy select concert and sporting event tickets for 30 days after claiming this milestone reward.
- 10 points per dollar spent on your next three Lyft rides: You'll earn 10 points per dollar on your next three Lyft rides when your Bilt and Lyft accounts are linked. However, the 10 points per dollar earning is capped at $25 of Lyft ride-hailing spend.
- 2 points per dollar spent on digital wallet purchases for seven days: You'll earn 2 points per dollar spent on purchases with your Bilt Mastercard made through Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay (up to 1,000 bonus points) for seven days after claiming this milestone reward.
- 5,000 points to get closer to the next status: You'll get 5,000 points to help you progress toward the next Bilt Rewards earn-based status. Note that these points aren't redeemable.
- $10 toward your next fitness class: You'll get $10 off a fitness class when you book through the fitness tab on the Bilt app. You can only apply one fitness credit per class.
- 7,500 points for the Bilt Collection: You'll get 7,500 points to use toward one item in the Bilt Collection. You can't claim this specific milestone reward more than once per year.
- 4 points per dollar spent at grocery stores for 30 days: You'll earn 4 points per dollar spent at grocery stores (up to 3,000 bonus points) when you use your Bilt Mastercard at checkout for 30 days after claiming this milestone reward. You can't claim this specific milestone reward more than once per year.
- 4 points per dollar spent at gas stations for 30 days: You'll earn 4 points per dollar spent at gas stations (up to 3,000 bonus points) when you use your Bilt Mastercard for 30 days after claiming this milestone reward. You can't claim this specific milestone reward more than once per year.
To see your progress toward your next milestone reward and claim any available milestone rewards, head to the "Elite Status" tab in the Bilt app. However, Bilt will also send you an email and app push notification each time you unlock a new milestone reward.
You'll likely get the most value by making a plan to claim each milestone reward shortly after you earn it. However, be sure to claim all your milestone rewards before the end of each calendar year since any unclaimed rewards at that point will expire.
And before you get excited about stacking promotions, know that Bilt won't let you do so. Instead, the best offer will always be used. The most specific multiplier will be used if competing multipliers are equivalent in value.
For example, suppose you have an active 2 points per dollar spent at gas stations for 30 days milestone reward and make an eligible gas station purchase on Bilt Rent Day. In that case, you'll earn 2 points per dollar based on the milestone reward since it is more specific than the Rent Day double points promotion.

Bottom line
Bilt Rewards members can pick up extra perks each time they earn 25,000 points within a calendar year. Know, though, that a Bilt Rewards spokesperson noted this is just the first iteration of the milestone reward program and that Bilt plans to "monitor and constantly tinker based on what we learn from members." As such, expect to see this guide upgraded as Bilt iterates on its milestone rewards program.
