British Airways deal: Book Europe flight-and-hotel packages for just $179

Good news for Brits and those eager to fly between the United Kingdom and other European destinations: British Airways Holidays is currently running some great deals on European city breaks.

Prices start at 142 British pounds (about $179) for both hotel accommodations and flights when booking two-night stays in destinations like Paris; Prague; Nice, France; Stockholm; and Copenhagen.

British Airways Holidays double-tier-points bonus

While the current British Airways Holidays double-tier-points bonus cannot be applied to this particular sale, it's worth keeping in mind if you're looking to take a longer trip of five nights or more.

In this instance, you won't get a discount, but you will get twice as many tier points for the flights flown, which is a great offer if you're looking to earn status with British Airways.

To take advantage, you must first make sure you have a British Airways Executive Club account. Then, all you need to do is book a vacation package that lasts at least five nights, starts in and returns to the U.K., and includes flights and hotel accommodations or flights and a car rental.

You will then earn double the tier points for the flights taken as part of the package, which contribute to your British Airways status earnings.

Bottom line
