Bagsmart Compression Packing Cubes
When it comes to maximizing space in your suitcase, packing cubs are an absolute game-changer. Bagsmart's Compression Packing Cubes are on sale (common retail price of $39.99) for a pack of six, ranging in size and designed to cater to specific clothing needs, plus they're waterproof.
Choose from various colors, including gray and periwinkle, pink, and baby blue, or keep it simple with all gray.
Veken 6-Set Packing Cubes
Another packing cube option in today's Prime Day sale is from Veken, whose six-set packing cubes promise to fit up to 45 items of clothing in their cubes, measuring 11 x 8 x 2.5 inches.
These normally go for $25.99 and are available in various colors at slightly different price points. With more than 19,000 ratings for an average customer review of 4.7 stars out of five, these cubes are popular among users.
Apple MagSafe Battery Pack
Wireless phone chargers are a must when traveling -- frankly, I get stressed as soon as I drop below 75%. This is where Apple's MagSafe Battery Pack comes into play. It normally goes for $99, and the charger is compatible with the original Max, Pro and Mini versions of the iPhone 12 and 13 for uninterrupted wireless charging, no outlet required.
Plus, this portable charger automatically charges itself.
Apple AirTag
If you consider purchasing anything on this list, I urge it to be this.
A fan favorite among TPG staffers, including our founder, Brian Kelly, Apple's AirTags are among the most helpful travel items out there, especially if you need to check a bag this summer.
You can pick up a four-pack and track your checked bags if they get lost or delayed in transit. The Bluetooth tracking devices allow you to track your suitcase through nearby Apple devices, such as an iPhone or iPad, whether it be yours or someone else's. Simply put the tag in your checked suitcase and know you can track its whereabouts from your iOS device, should it become lost along the way.

Best headphone deals
Apple AirPods Pro
One of my must-have items when traveling is a reliable pair of noise-canceling headphones. I prefer wireless earbud headphones since they're smaller and easier to pack. My go-to pair are the Apple AirPods Pro, which retail for a $249.99 price tag when not discounted.
My only complaint is that they still need to be charged quite often, only lasting up to 4.5 hours in my experience before needing a recharge.
Sony LinkBuds S Truly Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds
While I don't have these myself, those looking to spend less should consider a similar version from Sony. The company's LinkBuds S Truly Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds are down from their usual $199.99 and promise up to six hours of battery life.
Beats Studio3 Wireless
Some say that the quality of earbuds pales compared to traditional over-the-ear headphones.
If you want to test that theory out (or just like to attach the loops of your facemask around exterior headphones, an affordable option would be the Beats Studio3 Wireless, which boasts an impressive 22 hours of listening before charging for a price point much lower than their competitors with shorter battery lives.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II Headphones
Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones are a mid-tier option for those looking to spend a little more. These are noise-canceling and wireless, with a built-in microphone and Alexa voice control. They have a normal retail price of $349. Plus, they boast an impressive 20-hour battery life if charged, more than enough to last you through a day of travel, including most international flights.
AirPods Max Wireless Over-Ear Headphones
If you are partial to Apple products, know that their AirPods Max Wireless Over-Ear Headphones, the headphone equivalent for the AirPods Pro, are also on sale. These have a steeper $449 regular retail price tag but promise to offer 20 hours of listening time.
6S Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
Those looking for a budget-friendly option are in luck with the 6S Wireless Bluetooth headphones, which are over-ear, hi-def and offer 30 hours of playtime. But after your headphones run out of battery, you can switch to wired mode and continue listening. The best part is that these normally retail for $29.99, plus their black and gold version is simple yet chic.

Rockland Melbourne Hardside Expandable Spinner Wheel Suitcase
Hard-shell suitcases have gained popularity in recent years thanks to the rise of brands like Away and Roam with a pretty hefty price point attached, usually starting around $200.
But if $200 is out of reach, consider some alternative hardshell carry-on bags in this sale, including the Rockland Melbourne Hardside Expandable Spinner Wheel.
The 20-inch bag is available in various colors if brightly colored luggage is your thing and has a lower price point than brands like Away. This bag also meets the size restrictions for most major U.S. carriers, including American, Delta and United.
American Tourister Moonlight Hardside Expandable Luggage
If you prefer to check a bag, the 28-inch American Tourister Moonlight Hardside Expandable Luggage in rose gold is aesthetically pleasing and available right now at a discount.
