These Additional Rules, together with the Official General Rules ("General Rules"), govern the Promotion defined below to be conducted by The Points Guy ("TPG"). These Additional Rules will prevail in the event of an inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the General Rules and the terms and conditions of these Additional Rules. By entering, you explicitly agree to these Additional Rules and to the General Rules governing TPG promotions. Incomplete, garbled, non-responsive and mechanically reproduced entries will be disqualified. If you enter using a mobile device, standard data charges may apply from your carrier.
PROMOTION: The Points Guy's 2026 Summer Travel Giveaway ("Sweepstakes")
SPONSOR: The Points Guy, LLC ("TPG"), 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, South Carolina 29707 is the sponsor of this Sweepstakes. Any questions relating to this Sweepstakes should be directed to TPG.
Instagram and Rove Card, Inc. are not sponsors or administrators of this Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. The Sweepstakes is open to individuals who are residents of the fifty (50) United States or D.C. age 18 or older with an active Rove Miles account at the time of entry. Rove Miles' accounts are free and are subject to all terms and conditions generally applicable thereto. Entrants must also be registered users of Instagram and you can sign up for a free Instagram account at https://www.instagram.com/accounts/emailsignup/.
Employees, officers and directors of TPG and Rove Card, Inc. ("Rove"), their respective parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies, web masters and web suppliers and persons engaged in the development of Sweepstakes materials (collectively, the "Promotional Entities"), and members of the immediate family (parents, siblings, children and spouse, wherever they reside) or household (whether or not related) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Participants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Monday, June 22, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Monday, July 6, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). The server hosting thepointsguy.com website is the official time clock for the Sweepstakes. Late submissions will not be accepted.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, enter by visiting Instagram, following @ThePointsGuy, and completing the entry form found at thepointsguy.com/rove-sweepstakes-terms/. Participants are required to provide their name, phone number, email address and answer the question, "If you were to win these Rove miles, where would you want to travel to put them to use?" By submitting an entry, you are confirming that you have read and agree to these Additional Rules and the General Rules.
Limit one entry per person by any method during the entire Promotion Period. Additional entries from the same person will be disqualified in Sponsor's sole discretion. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules (including attempting to enter more than once), your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of TPG.
SELECTION OF WINNER: Sponsor will select one (1) winner in a random drawing held on or before Friday, July 17, 2026 from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential winner will be notified by Sponsor via email on or before Friday, July 17, 2026 at the email address that the potential winner supplied to enter the Sweepstakes. The potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability (where legal), within seven (7) days following receipt in order to formally claim the Prize. If the potential winner does not return the signed documentation (including all necessary releases as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) on a timely basis, or if any notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if a potential winner declines the prize, or if a potential winner does not have an active Rove Miles account, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in full compliance with the Official General Rules and these Additional Rules, then that potential winner will be disqualified, the potential winner slot will be forfeited, and Sponsor will randomly draw another potential winner from among remaining eligible entries. Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize if it is unable to confirm a winner after three attempts. The prize is subject to all terms and conditions generally applicable to Rove Miles.
PRIZE:
- (1) one grand prize consisting of 250,000 Rove Miles
The estimated total value of the grand prize is $3,500.00.
A member of The Points Guy staff will help the grand prize winner plan their dream trip using Rove Miles, if desired. The Points Guy staff will host one (1) video call with the grand prize winner of no longer than twenty (20) minutes in duration, scheduled at a mutually convenient time before December 31, 2026.
TRAVEL TERMS: No cash in lieu of airline miles allowed. Rove and Sponsor will transfer the airline miles to winner's account within four to six weeks following confirmation. Rove will transfer 150,000 miles and Sponsor will transfer 100,000 miles. Winner's phone number will be used to verify winner's Rove Miles account as part of the confirmation process. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes applicable to their prize. Winner is solely responsible for all costs, fees, expenses, and other charges that are directly or indirectly related to the use of their prize (e.g., travel costs such as baggage fees, ground transportation, parking, hotels, tips, souvenirs, meals, alcoholic beverages, phone or internet charges, insurance, passports and the like). Winner accepts all responsibility for ensuring that they follow each appropriate state and/or international guidelines and rules for travel to and from their selected destination. Promotional Entities are not responsible for any illness contracted or injury sustained by any winners' use of any prize. Please see the additional terms and limitations applicable to prizes in the General Rules.
COMPANY ENTITIES AND PARTNERS: For the avoidance of doubt, the term "Company Entities & Partners" used in the General Rules shall also mean to include Rove Card, Inc. ("Rove") and Rove's respective officers, directors, employees, and agents.
PRIVACY: Personal data will be processed by TPG in accordance with its Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://thepointsguy.com/privacy-policy/ .
WINNERS LIST: For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to The Points Guy's 2026 Summer Travel Giveaway Winner List, 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29707 within 45 days following the close of the Sweepstakes. Requests received after that date will not be processed. Allow 4-6 weeks following the receipt of the request or the close of the Promotion Period, whichever is later, for delivery of the list.
