This week's Thursday Giveaway is a $500 Marriott gift card for your next trip to one of the chain's properties worldwide. The gift card is valid for stays, dining and more at any participating property, including Edition, JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels. You can use the $500 to book a stay with one of Marriott's new members-only rates. Just this week, Marriott announced this rate, which is exclusive to Marriott Rewards members and can offer you a good deal on your stay. Of course, it's always best to compare rates when you're looking at booking a hotel — especially with AAA rates.
If you're looking for some inspiration, check out The Miami Beach Edition, which is currently featuring rates for less than $300 per night. Or you could stay in one of Marriott's historic properties, like the JW Marriott El Convento Cusco in Peru, available some nights for less than $200.
You can also earn free nights with the Marriott Premier Rewards Credit Card, which currently offers a sign-up bonus of 80,000 Marriott Rewards points after spending $3,000 within the first three months. The JW in Cusco is a Category 7 hotel, with award nights available from 30,000 points per night at the PointSaver level (35,000 for a standard award). The Miami Beach Edition is a Tier 3 hotel, with award nights available from 40,000 points at the PointSaver level (50,000 for a standard award).
