Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available – Citi Hilton Honors Reserve Card

Now that Halloween is over, the feeling that the holiday season is not far away is beginning to set in – and with that comes the sometimes anxiety-inducing process of shopping. Brands are starting to announce holiday deals – although in some cases, like with Amex’s Small Business Saturday statement credit, some of this year’s offers aren’t quite what we’ve come to expect. The latest brand to release its holiday deal plan is Hilton, which is offering up to 30% off during its 72-hour Cyber sale.

Hilton announced that its 72-hour Cyber Monday deal will begin Monday, November 30 and last through Wednesday, December 2. The deal will allow travelers to take up to 30% off their stay of two or more consecutive nights for Thursday through Sunday arrivals between December 20, 2015 and February 29, 2016. Tuesday and Wednesday stays are not included in the deal, and only Hilton properties in the US, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean are participating in the offer.

Hilton has offered flash sales like this in the past, and many chains offer special Cyber Monday promotions for guests each year — there have also been plenty of opportunities to earn bonus points and miles through shopping portals. As for this Hilton deal, log on to Hilton.com starting November 30 to take advantage.

When you book with Hilton as part of this deal – whether it be a gift or for yourself – make sure to book with the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card. The current offer on the card is two weekend night certificates after spending $2,500 in the first four months. You will also earn 10 HHonors points for every dollar spent on hotel stays within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio, 5 points for every dollar spent on airline and car rental purchases and 3 points for every dollar spent on all other purchases. The card was included in TPG’s Top-10 travel rewards credit card offers for November 2015.
