The Points Guy Sweepstakes and Contests: Additional Rules

These Additional Rules, together with the Official General Rules ("General Rules"), govern the Promotion defined below to be conducted by The Points Guy ("TPG"). These Additional Rules will prevail in the event of an inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the General Rules and the terms and conditions of these Additional Rules. By participating, you explicitly agree to these Additional Rules and to the General Rules governing TPG promotions.

PROMOTION: TPG CARDHOLDER EXPERIENCE SURVEY GIVEAWAY ("Giveaway")

SPONSOR: TPG, 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, South Carolina 29707 is the sponsor of this Giveaway. Any questions relating to this Giveaway should be directed to TPG.

Marriott, Hilton, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and SurveyMonkey are not associated with or sponsors of this Giveaway.

ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE OR INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Giveaway is open to individuals who are residents of the fifty (50) United States or D.C. age 18 or older in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of the Giveaway.

Employees, officers and directors of TPG, its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies and persons engaged in the development of the Giveaway materials, and members of the immediate family (parents, siblings, children and spouse, wherever they reside) or household (whether or not related) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. Participants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.

PROMOTION PERIOD: The Giveaway begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Saturday, November 16, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 23, 2025 (the "Promotion Period"). The server hosting thepointsguy.com website is the official time clock for the Giveaway. Late submissions will not be accepted.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, complete the credit card survey/entry form via the SurveyMonkey link provided in the TPG newsletter that was e-mailed to you. Participants shall select answers and complete open-ended questions in the fields marked required about their credit card experience with the different credit cards they have in their wallet (including but not limited to, how they signed up, what communications or benefits they have used, how they value and use the card's features, overall satisfaction) and then complete their name, valid email address, and any other required fields as indicated.

Limit one entry per individual by any method during the entire Promotion Period. Any additional entries by the same individual will be deemed void. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules (including attempting to enter more than once), your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of TPG.

By giving your permission in the survey, you hereby grant to Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license in and to the answers/reviews provided in your entry, so that Sponsor has the right to use, not use, display, post, publish, share, copy, edit, combine and create derivative works from the answers/reviews in any and all media, worldwide, without limitation or further obligation to you or any other party. If you enter using a mobile device, standard data charges may apply from your carrier.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: There will be seven (7) winners in the Giveaway. After the close of the Promotion Period, Sponsor will select the winners in a random drawing held approximately 7 days following the close of the Promotion Period among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The first and second winners drawn will be the Grand Prize winners. The third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh winners drawn will be the five Bonus winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Grand Prize winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability (where legal), within seven days following receipt in order to claim the Prize. The potential winners will be notified via e-mail at the e-mail address provided in the survey/entry form. If any notification e-mail is returned as non-deliverable, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in full compliance with the Official General Rules and these Additional Rules, then that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected and notified in accordance with the General Rules and these Additional Rules. Sponsor reserves the right not to award a Prize if it is unable to confirm a winner after three attempts.

PRIZE:

Two (2) Grand Prize winners will each receive:

  • A 30-minute points and miles consultation with a TPG expert
  • 100,000 points from one of the following programs: Marriott, Hilton, Virgin Atlantic or British Airways
  • Prize estimated value: $4,200.00 ($2,100.00 per prize)

Five (5) Bonus winners will each receive:

  • A 30-minute points and miles consultation with a TPG expert
  • Prize estimated value: $500.00 ($100.00 per prize)

The estimated total value for all Prizes is $4,700.00.

PRIZE TERMS: No substitutions of Prize except in Sponsor's sole discretion. No cash in lieu of Prize. The 30-minute points and miles consultantions with a TPG expert will be conducted as a video call, scheduled at a mutually convenient time on or before Tuesday, February 17, 2026. If either Grand Prize winner does not already have an account with the program that they choose, the winner will need to create an account as part of the confirmation process and provide those details to Sponsor. Each program's account is free, and is subject to all terms and conditions generally applicable thereto, per the program chosen by a Grand Prize winner. Sponsor will transfer the points to the Grand Prize winner's accounts no later than Monday, January 5, 2026. Grand Prize winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes applicable to the Prize. Grand Prize winners are solely responsible for all costs, fees, expenses, and other charges that are directly or indirectly related to the use of their prize (e.g., airline tickets, travel costs such as connecting flights, baggage fees, ground transportation, parking, hotels, tips, souvenirs, meals, alcoholic beverages, phone or internet charges, insurance, passports and the like). Grand Prize winners accept all responsibility for ensuring that they follow all appropriate state and/or international guidelines and rules for travel to and from their selected destination. Sponsor is not responsible for any illness contracted or injury sustained by a winners' use of any prize. Please see the additional terms and limitations applicable to prizes in the General Rules.

PRIVACY: Personal data will be processed by TPG in accordance with its Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://thepointsguy.com/privacy-policy/ .

WINNERS LIST: For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to TPG's CARDHOLDER EXPERIENCE SURVEY GIVEAWAY Winners List, 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29707 within 30 days following the close of the Giveaway. Requests received after that date will not be processed. Allow 4-6 weeks following the receipt of the request or the close of the Promotion Period, whichever is later, for delivery of the list.
