Offer ending soon — don't miss out

by Brian Kelly

Earlier this week, Chase alerted us that the massive 100,000-bonus-point offer on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is ending soon, and I want to be sure you don’t miss out.

This is one of the most exciting welcome offers we’ve seen in years. In fact, it’s been four years since the bonus was this high and I recommended it to basically everyone I talked to then — and I’m doing it again now.

TPG’s #1 travel rewards card is offering an enormous 100,000-point welcome bonus after you spend $5,000 in the first three months of card membership — that’s a staggering 40,000 points higher than what the regular offer has been for years!

I love this card for many reasons, but the versatility and value of using Chase points with transfer partners is probably my #1 reason. I also love this card for its travel protections and insurance — even if you use it to book an award ticket. Just pay the taxes and fees with the Sapphire Preferred and your trip is covered.

This card offer is an absolute no-brainer if you want an easy way to earn 100,000 bonus points that TPG values at over $2,000 based on our May 2025 valuations.

Here are five of my favorite ways to use 100,000 Chase points for maximum value:

Fly business class nonstop on Swiss from New York City to Geneva for 60,000 Air Canada Aeroplan points and 79 Canadian dollars.
Fly business class nonstop to Paris from New York on Air France for 60,000 Flying Blue miles and $238 in taxes.
Book one night in a Big Sur Suite for 66,000 World of Hyatt points at the luxurious, all-inclusive Alila Ventana Big Sur, where standard cash rates hover around $2,500 per night.
Fly to Japan from the U.S. in business class on Japan Airlines from 59,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points plus $205 in taxes and fees.
Book two United round-trip economy tickets to Honolulu from Newark for 50,000 miles and $12 each round-trip — that’s over $2,000 in value.

If you’re not sure if you’re eligible this time around, take a look at these resources:

I highly recommend adding this card to your wallet before the 100,000-bonus-point offer ends soon — otherwise, you could be waiting another four years until it comes around again.
