One of my favorite currencies to earn is Alaska Airlines miles. I’ve been able to fly on incredible partner airlines in business class to and from Asia multiple times.
In fact, next month I’m flying in business class to Tokyo from San Francisco on Japan Airlines and returning from Taipei, Taiwan, to Seattle on Starlux Airlines. Total cost in miles each way? 60,000.
But Alaska Mileage Plan miles are not easy to come by.
If you’re also looking for an easy way to earn highly coveted Alaska Airlines miles, then this limited-time offer to earn 70,000 bonus miles plus a Companion Fare could be a great fit for your points and miles strategy.
Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan MVP Gold 100K won Best U.S. Airline Elite Status at the 2024 TPG Awards and has some incredible benefits that you won’t see with any other U.S. program, including international stopovers on award bookings (even on one-way flights), so you could potentially travel to two countries for the price of one. You can also use Alaska miles to book flights on American Airlines and newly acquired partner Hawaiian Airlines.
Alaska also has several cool partners, such as Japan Airlines, Aer Lingus, Air Tahiti Nui, Fiji Airways, Icelandair and Condor, with which you can use your miles for inexpensive business-class seats.
I personally love the sweet spots you can book through Alaska, like the one I’m thinking about booking for next fall: flying LATAM to Santiago, Chile, in business class for just 50,000 miles one-way.
I’ve also got my eye on flying from New York to Doha on Qatar Airways for just 70,000 miles in business class one-way.
Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a great weekend. Last week, I announced my book tour for my new book, “How to Win at Travel” — and you all have been selling out cities on the tour! Thank you, and I am so excited to see you all in person. We are quickly working to add more cities to the lineup — Chicago, Portland, etc., so stay tuned to my Instagram, @briankelly, where I’ll share updates as they become available.
