This year has been absolutely jam-packed with stellar credit card welcome offers at a pace that is far from usual. In fact, you may have even gotten used to us shouting about the next great $1,000-plus offer here — but don’t let that lull you into missing out while the getting is good.
It’s not too late to get in on some of the best offers we’ve seen as August kicks off with ways to earn an unprecedented pile of Chase Ultimate Rewards points, the best Capital One Venture offer we’ve seen in years and an offer for five free hotel nights!
The popular Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card has a limited-time offer for new cardholders of 120,000 bonus points after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening — the best offer in this card’s history. Chase points are a favorite among the TPG staff because they are so versatile and can be transferred to 14 hotel and airline partners. According to TPG’s August 2024 valuations, this offer is worth a staggering $2,460! Keep in mind that you may be eligible for a business card even with your side hustle. For a card with only a $95 annual fee, the value here is easy math and absolutely not to be missed.
Finally, there’s the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, which comes with five free nights (each night valued at up to 60,000 points) after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first three months of account opening. IHG also offers a fourth night free on redemptions, and this card comes with a free night worth up to 40,000 points on each account anniversary. It’s hard to find any welcome offer that packs in that much opportunity for free nights.
