Chase Ultimate Rewards points are my favorite rewards currency, so I was really excited to see this huge offer go live. I mostly fly on Southwest Airlines and stay at Hyatt hotels, so I love that I can transfer my Ultimate Rewards points to either partner.
Whether you love them too or are just looking to diversify your rewards portfolio, the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card’s current best-ever bonus is one worth jumping on. For a limited time, new applicants can earn 120,000 bonus points after spending $8,000 in the first three months from account opening.
Unlike the other cards in the Ink family that earn cash back, the Ink Business Preferred allows you to transfer your points to any of Chase’s 14 hotel and airline partners. TPG’s July 2024 valuations peg the value of Ultimate Rewards points at 2.05 cents apiece, making this bonus worth a staggering $2,460.
Even if you aren’t a traditional business owner, you may be eligible for a small-business card like this one. I do some tutoring on the weekends, and that side hustle has allowed me to get some small-business credit cards (and earn their welcome bonuses).
The Ink Business Preferred used to have a hefty $15,000 spending requirement to earn its sign-up bonus, but Chase cut it to just $8,000 last year — putting the bonus within reach for those of us who couldn’t quite hit that higher spending requirement.
Beyond the ultravaluable bonus, this card has a reasonable $95 annual fee and earns 3 points per dollar on the first $150,000 spent on travel and common business categories like internet and shipping purchases, making it a great one to keep in your wallet year after year.
