If you’ve been following TPG for a while, you know our favorite way to get a ton of points and miles is by taking advantage of a juicy welcome bonus. And right now, one of the most valuable cards on the market is offering an elevated bonus worth doing a double take.
The Business Platinum Card® from American Express is currently offering new cardmembers 150,000 bonus points after they spend $20,000 in the first three months of account opening. Since TPG values Membership Rewards points at 2 cents each, this bonus is worth a staggering $3,000 — more than four years’ worth of the card’s $695 annual fee.
But the welcome bonus is just the beginning of the value the Business Platinum Card offers. With it, you’ll also get access to Amex’s Global Lounge Collection of airport lounges, over $1,000 in available annual credits and perks like automatic hotel elite status.
We haven’t seen a publicly available offer this high since TPG had an exclusive offer back in 2022 (they don’t come around often).
The spending requirement is certainly steep, but we outline ways you can meet it in this guide.
Still, this card won’t be perfect for every business. If you need other options, check out our full list of the best business credit cards.
