Time is running out to snag up to 165,000 bonus points on a new IHG credit card. Here’s a look at the current offers:
IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card: Earn 165,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 in the first three months from account opening when you apply by Wednesday.
IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card: Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening when you apply by Wednesday.
All three cards give you access to one of my favorite underrated card perks: the fourth-night reward. This perk lets you redeem zero points for every fourth night when you redeem IHG points for a stay of at least four nights.
You can use the fourth-night reward at any IHG hotel you can book with points, including the InterContinental Phuket Resort pictured above. I’ve used the perk 40 times since 2018, saving thousands of points on stays. But the benefit can still offer great value even if you only use it occasionally.
IHG uses dynamic pricing, but you can often find award nights bookable for 70,000 points each at the TPG-favorite Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in the Cayman Islands.
Without an eligible IHG card, you’d usually need to redeem 280,000 points for a four-night stay at Kimpton Seafire. But after the fourth-night reward, you’d only need 210,000 points. Based on TPG’s valuations, the 70,000 points you’d save are worth $350.
All three cards offer other valuable perks, including automatic IHG elite status. If you’re thinking about getting a card, don’t delay — these offers end Wednesday.
