Now, I know you may be thinking, “I don’t have a small business, so why do I care?”
Well, for starters, there are many ways to qualify for a business credit card without a formal company. In fact, I was approved for this card several years ago as a sole proprietor with just my Social Security number (I was freelancing for TPG at the time).
Now is a fantastic time to apply, as the card features a welcome bonus of 15,000 points after you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in the first three months of card membership. This isn’t a massive haul of points, but considering the card often has no welcome offer, it’s still solid.
Beyond that, I love many things about the card and its simple earning structure:
It earns 2 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on all purchases (on up to $50,000 in spending per year).
