It’s not often that I get to be the one to share the best welcome offer we’ve seen on a card, so today is almost as exciting for me as it is for the readers who get to take advantage of this awesome welcome bonus.
World of Hyatt is one of our favorite loyalty programs because award redemptions for Category 1 properties start at just 3,500 points per night, and it charges fair award rates for higher-end hotels and resorts, too!
Here’s how you can earn these valuable hotel points.
When you apply and are approved for the World of Hyatt Credit Card, you can earn up to 65,000 points: 35,000 points after spending $3,000 within the first three months from account opening, plus up to 30,000 more points by earning 2 points per dollar on purchases that normally earn 1 point made in the first six months, on up to $15,000 spent.
The welcome bonus for the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card has a similar structure that can net you up to 75,000 World of Hyatt points: 60,000 points after spending $5,000 within the first three months from account opening, plus 15,000 points after spending $12,000 in the first six months from account opening.
For a limited time, the World of Hyatt Credit Card and the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card have welcome offers worth $1,105 and $1,275, respectively, according to TPG’s valuations. That could translate to more than a dozen free hotel nights if you book off-peak nights or a shorter stay at a high-end property like the Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo, pictured above.
